Mapleside Sugar Bush

Poppy Seed Dressing

 

1 cup (250 mL) oil
1/3 cup (75 mL) cider vinegar
1/3 cup (75 mL) maple syrup
1 tsp (5 mL) onion flakes

1-1/2 tbsp (20 mL) poppy seeds
1 tsp (5 mL) dry mustard
1/2 cup (125 mL) beet juice for color (or as desired)

Directions: Mix all ingredients in blender. Keep refrigerated in a vinegar cruet or 375 mL maple syrup bottle. A delicious and pretty complement to any fresh tossed salad, or fresh vegetables.
