Maple Divinity Fudge

 

2 cups (500 mL) pure maple syrup
Pinch salt
2 egg whites, beaten stiff

1/3 cup (75 mL) chopped nutmeats (eg. black walnuts)

Directions: Line pan with wax paper. Boil maple syrup to 235°F. Add salt and pour slowly over egg whites that have been beaten stiff. Beat the whole mixture until it holds its shape. Add nuts and pour into small pan. Enjoy!
