Maple Syrup Chicken |

3 lb (1-1/4 kg) broiler/fryer chicken, pieces |
1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice |
Directions: Wash and dry chicken. In small saucepan, bring syrup to boil. Boil gently for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Arrange chicken in large skillet. Add syrup, lemon juice and peel. Cover and cook on low for 45 minutes, turning occasionally. Cook, uncovered for 15 minutes longer. Serve chicken with sauce spooned over. Skinless chicken breasts are delicious cooked this way. Tastes great!
